Hi! I'm so glad you found me! Formerly an engineer, I have now been a passionate facilitator of healing for over 20 years. I've completed in-depth programs in massage therapy, frequency specific microcurrent (FSM), and Coaching the Body®. I specialize in combining the ancient art of bodywork with modern biophysics technology to optimize health and healing.
From personal experience I have profoundly learned that we each have a natural healing force within us that we can nurture with mindful awareness and movement practices, deep relaxation, a plant-plentiful diet, and regular bodywork—AND we can boost our ability to self-heal with safe, resonance-based medicine. Health truly is wealth and I'm looking forward to being a partner on your healing journey and helping you lead a richer and more joyous life.
I serve the St. Charles, IL area and beyond, combining massage therapy with applied biophysics technology to increase health and relieve nerve, muscle, and joint pain.
My rate is $100 for a 60 minute session and $140 for a 90 minute session.
As a member of your health care team, I have a no tipping policy.
MASSAGE THERAPY
My signature WELLNESS MASSAGE is personalized to your needs and combines a variety of flowing strokes tailored to your pressure preference. I blend in craniosacral therapy, myofascial release, Quantum Touch, Reiki, and reflexology to help balance and heal on multiple levels. I can also add FSM, PEMF, EPS and PBM at no additional cost to modulate your vagus nerve and other bodily systems. Perfect for maintaining a stable state, managing stress, and easing tension, this full body massage is a wonderful way to take care of yourself.
When you've had an injury or surgery, need relief from chronic pain, want to improve joint mobility, or prevent overuse injuries, a THERAPEUTIC MASSAGE will target specific conditions. I'll give extra focus to the body areas most in need and use a combination of Coaching the Body® techniques, Thai bodywork, neuromuscular therapy, myofascial release, a special-tipped massage gun, fascia-blasting tools, Normatec, FSM, PEMF, EPS, PBM and more.
One of my specialties is FERTILITY, PRENATAL, and POSTNATAL MASSAGE. For most, gentle massages can take place in all trimesters, taking care to avoid acupressure points in the wrists and ankles. Massage can help regulate fluid levels and blood pressure, reduce anxiety, and more. Combining FSM with massage can help balance the hormones needed to conceive, and after birth, can help heal injured and traumatized organs and tissues, including diastasis recti, and for C-section scars, can help decrease numbness, adhesions, and puckering.

FREQUENCY SPECIFIC MICROCURRENT (FSM)
"Every tissue in the body has natural bioelectrical properties. FSM practitioners work with the understanding that tissues may respond to specific frequency combinations through a principle similar to resonance—where matching frequencies can influence tissue behavior." (frequencyspecific.com) The results include repairing nerves and other tissue types, dissolving adhesions and scar tissue, and reducing inflammation and pain. Published research has shown many positive benefits of FSM including an increase in cellular energy production (ATP) of 500%, enhancement of protein synthesis by 70%, improvement of amino acid transport by 40%, and a reduction in inflammatory cytokines (pain markers) by a factor of 10-20 times. Whether you're dealing with muscle, nerve, or joint pain; illness, anxiety, or infertility; sports injuries, accident rehabilitation, or post-surgery recovery; or just everyday stress-related tension, FSM can help.
During your session, I'll use a handheld device attached with wires to two warm, wet towels to deliver around 150 microamps of electrical current through a ramped square wave to the tissues. I'll set the device's two channels to exact frequencies to target both the issue and tissue type—for example, 40 Hertz on one channel for reducing inflammation and 396 Hertz on the other channel for peripheral nerves. The device runs at millionths of an ampere, which is a thousand times less current than a TENS device, and the same level of current your body produces on its own within each cell. Most people don't feel anything except for possibly euphoric or floaty from a quick and large increase in endorphins (our natural painkillers). Similar to massage, it is important to be well hydrated to maximize effectiveness and avoid dehydration symptoms.
Pulsed electromagnetic field (PEMF), electronic point stimulation (EPS), and photobiomodulation (PBM) are other technologies I utilize. My PEMF device is placed on or near your body and transmits frequencies via magnetic waves instead of by electrical current. EPS uses a handheld device to apply low-frequency, direct electrical current to stimulate acupuncture points and clear trigger points. My PBM pad uses specific wavelengths of light in the mid 660 and mid 850 nm range to increase mitochondrial energy production and enhance the health and function of cells.
I can add these to your massage session at no additional cost and will help you choose based on your wellness goals. You can choose from one of the following pre-set FSM protocols (frequency pairings and sequences designed by experienced research clinicians) or we can set up a series of customized FSM sessions (with or without massage) to address your unique condition more precisely.

COACHING THE BODY® (CTB)
CTB is an advanced approach to trigger point therapy that integrates neuroscience concepts to eliminate pain and gain back joint mobility and strength in conditions such as frozen shoulder, tennis elbow, knee and low back pain, and sciatica. It utilizes many manual therapy techniques as well as movement of joints through their range while simultaneously giving specific muscles feedback with a specially-tipped massage gun designed for resolving trigger points and taut fibers. At the start of a CTB session, I'll assess for any perpetuating factors such as postural and structural abnormalities that can create an environment where muscles are more likely to develop trigger points.
Trigger points are a way your body tries to stabilize joints that are under acute or chronic overload; they are created by your central nervous system (CNS) and are taut bands of muscle fibers often with tender, hyper-irritable spots within them. Trigger points often refer pain to other parts of the body which can be very misleading. It is important to understand that pain is a manifestation of the CNS protecting the body against perceived threats. Although injuries can damage tissues and cause pain, most pain is actually from trigger points in muscles.
When trigger point fibers are stretched without first being treated, the CNS senses danger and pain can become aggravated. For instance, massaging or stretching the upper shoulders can temporarily relieve pain, but it is not a successful strategy for lasting pain resolution, and sometimes it can even trigger or exasperate a headache. The CTB method specializes in tracing patterns of referral and functional muscular relationships to address pain at its origin. With CTB, I'll restore mobility while calming the CNS to avoid triggering protective muscle guarding and pain.
Muscles with trigger points are also weaker and can't operate at full strength because they are already partially stuck in a contracture of taut muscle fibers. Strengthening exercises can often increase pain referral and makes things worse. With CTB, I'll first clear the trigger points to restore muscle function, then we'll focus on strengthening.
Over several sessions, I'll combine CTB and FSM to bring your body back to a pain-free, optimally functioning state.
TESTIMONIALS
"Tracy really took the time to hear my health challenges and in addition to providing a wonderful healing experience, she helped me to understand the process. The FSM treatment combined with massage was incredibly relaxing and provided significant pain relief. Highly recommend!!" SJ
"I'm a veteran and saw Tracy weekly for 12 wks through my doctor's referral. Each session my neck and shoulder pain and mobility improved more and more. I was skeptical at first of the frequency stuff, but nothing has worked as well as that combined with her Coaching the Body techniques. Often I'd feel huge releases not only in my shoulder but in my neck and down my back, and the headache pain at my temple would also disappear. I can't thank her enough!" L
"I first came to Tracy after an injury that caused a hiatal hernia. I was in a lot of pain, had limited mobility, and my ribs were mostly numb. She used FSM with myofascial release and it made a huge difference. One of the things I like most is that I feel comfortable in her space and I definitely know she cares about my recovery. Go see her because I’m so glad I found her!" KF
"I previously had a lot of tension in my neck and would typically take Tylenol once a day for relief. Since I have been receiving monthly massages and FSM from Tracy, this tension is much, much less and I no longer need Tylenol." SM
"I am an older adult and have had many, many massages over the years from many therapists. I have to say that Tracy is by far the most skilled massage therapist I have ever worked with. She listens to you, is very flexible in meeting your needs, is very intuitive, and crafts a perfect massage for you. The results I have felt from her massages combined with FSM and PEMF have far exceeded my expectations. You won’t be disappointed." MN
"Tracy is phenomenal! She offers the perfect combination of modalities, blending skill, intuition, and care to create an exceptional experience. I highly recommend her!" SS
A LITTLE ABOUT ME & MY HEALING JOURNEY
With intention, life can be a beautiful, ongoing healing journey where we turn seemingly negative experiences into transformative ones; healing on physical as well as energetic-emotional levels. When I look back, I wouldn't take away any of my struggles because I've learned so much and my life has more passion and preciousness as a result.
I first discovered powerful healing modalities such as yoga, energy medicine, bodywork, acupuncture, Ayurveda, and Traditional Chinese Medicine when my husband Gary and I were near the end of a 7-year quest to starting a family. After trying many medical interventions, I got pregnant naturally in 2003 after immersing myself in holistic practices, including a month-long yoga teacher training in Sedona.
During and after my three pregnancies, I had elevated blood sugar, chronic sinusitis, and eczema leading me to an elimination diet and a deeper understanding of food being both the cause and the cure. Chronic adrenal fatigue also limited the activities I could do, and after incorporating Medical Medium protocols, I made huge strides with this.

My interest in mindfulness grew exponentially as my children grew—first because it greatly supported my own mental health and parenting, but also because of the stories and studies that continued to come out about its positive effect in educational settings. I was inspired to introduce teacher and student groups to mindfulness and yoga any chance I could get.
My enthusiasm for it increased so much that I founded the nonprofit Educating Mindfully in 2018. It has brought me great joy to support school communities with resources for mindfulness-based learning and I feel very proud to have published a book co-written by over 40 educators and organizations called Educating Mindfully: Stories of School Transformation Through Mindfulness.
Extended hours at the computer as a nonprofit director took a toll on my body and I experienced several bouts of frozen shoulder where massage and physical therapy were keys to my recovery. More and more, my body called me away from computer work toward a hands-on, healing-centered profession.
Midway through my first semester of massage school at the College of DuPage, I began having hot, excruciating thumb pain. I paused my studies, and from an fMRI learned that I have cervical damage that is impacting the nerves in my neck, shoulders, arms, and hands causing inflammation and pain.
Shortly after and synchronistically, I stumbled upon the book The Resonance Effect at the library where I learned about frequency specific microcurrent (FSM). It helps tremendously with my chronic pain and adrenal health and has allowed me to continue doing what I love. It has also helped my family with ailments and sports injuries, and I consider my FSM device a vital part of our first aid kit.
I completed core and advanced FSM trainings in 2023, received my massage license in 2024, and did core Coaching the Body™ trainings in 2025. I'm so appreciative for the opportunity to help people in such powerful ways.
